Glass fusing workshop
Glass fusing is an old technique in which multiple layers of glass are joined together by stacking and heating them. During the workshop you create a glass object according to your own design. You work with beautiful, colored fusible glass. You learn how to cut, break and prepare your design for firing.
Your design is then placed into a kiln at a high temperature. This process takes approximately 24 hours. The glass layers have now fused together and your glass object is ready.
Prefer to make a scale? Then your glass object needs to go back into the oven once more. We place your flat glass object on a mold in the kiln. Due to the heat, the glass now sinks down and takes the shape of the mold. This second firing will cost 100Sek extra.
You can pick up your glass object after firing, 1 to 2 days later.
